Abstract

저자는 64명의 114개 치아, 155개 치근관을 조사하였다. 이들의 근관충전상태는 충전 재료
가 근첨부에 도달한 예(to apex)가 76.8%, 근첨부에 미달한 예가(under filling) 19.4%, 근첨
부를 통과한 예(over filling)가 3.9%이였다. 이에 대한 근관치료 후에 대한 조사 연구에 의
하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다.
1, 치근단 방사선 투과상이 있던 93개 치아는 20.0개월경과 후 71.0%가 완전히 성상골로
치유되었고, 20.4%는 크기가 감소하였고, 6.5%는 크기의 변화가 없었으며, 2.2%만이 크기가
증가하였다.
2. 치근단 방사선 투과상이 없던 21개 치아는 모두 새로운 병소가 생기지 않았다.
3. 정상골로 완전 치유된 66개 치아의 평균 치료 경과 기간은 23.4개월이었고, 이들 치아
중 80.3%근 치조경선이 재생되었고, 97.0%에서는 치근막의 재생을 보여주었다.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the initial and postoperative radiographic
features of the endodontic treated teeth. The author examined the radiographs which
comprise 114 teeth with 155 canals of 64 persons.
The following factors were considered ; Age, sex, tooth location, number of root
canals, postoperative periods, initial diagnosis, and radiographic findings, postoperative
radiographic findings. The apical levels of the root fillings were 76.8% to apex, 19.0%
under filling, 3.9% over filling.
The following results were obtained.
1. Of the 93 teeth which revealed initial periapical rarefaction, 66 teeth (71.0%) had
showed complete bone healing, 19 teeth (20.4%) decreased rarefaction, 6 teeth (6.5%) no
change, 2 teeth (2.2%) increased rarefaction after 20.0 months mean healing time.
2. 21 teeth which had no initial periapical rarefaction showed no occurrence of new
periapical rarefaction.
3. Of the 66 teeth completely healed, 53 teeth (80.3%) had showed reappearance of
lamina dura, 64 teeth (97.0%) reappearance of periodontal ligament space after 23.4
months mean healing time.
